OMG.
I love you so, so, so very much right now. Seriously. When I was playing the game I had something a bit similar going through my head too, and was so happy to find someone wrote such a very, very delicious fic about it. Please indulge those other ideas, because I love this pair and nobody else seems to write them, nevertheless write them so well. I'm just going to add this to my memories with a few of your other fics and go cool off, because coherency is not coming back anytime soon.
